If reports are to be believed, Everton are said to be extremely interested in Fulham midfielder Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa and could move for him in the summer if the Cottagers are relegated. The London side are currently 18th in the table at the time of writing, and are nine points off safety with four games to play.
Anguissa had joined Fulham from Marseille in 2018. He spent the 2019-20 season on loan with Villarreal in La Liga after the Cottagers went down and returned to them for another Premier League season following their promotion back to the top flight.
Cameroon international Anguissa is contracted to Fulham till the summer of 2023, and it is rumoured that a fee around the £25m mark will be enough to get him away from Craven Cottage if Scott Parker’s men are again relegated to the Championship.
Everton are currently 8th in the table but have games in hands over their fellow rivals battling out for a European spot. Qualifying for continental competition would make the Toffees an attractive destination for Anguissa- the chance of European footy under a renowned manager in Carlo Ancelotti as well as the option to stay in England and the Premier League.
