According to reports, Everton have lined up both Dele Alli and Sami Khedira as targets as gaffer Carlo Ancelotti looks to strengthen his midfield.
Alli has barely had any first team football this season under Jose Mourinho and with the European Championships approaching next summer, wants a move away in January to get more regular game time under his belt. It is understood that Spurs will not stand in the way of a move, and a transfer to Everton will ensure he stays in England and on the radar of both fans and pundits ahead of next summer.
Alli has also widely been linked with Paris Saint-Germain, and the French giants will reportedly make another offer when the winter window opens after having several approaches rejected last summer.
Like Alli, Khedira has found himself on the sidelines under Andrea Pirlo at Juventus and has established contact with Everton boss Ancelotti. The two have worked together previously at Real Madrid, and Khedira reportedly wants a new challenge, which the Premier League will certainly provide.
Everton are currently 7th in the Premier League and beat Chelsea 1-0 over the weekend. They will face Leicester City in the next round of fixtures.
