Premier League Everton have made a £5million bid for Copenhagen full-back Bryan Oviedo. The 22 year-old can play as a left-back or on the left side of midfield. Oviedo is highly-rated and has been linked with a move to Manchester United in the past.
Everton boss David Moyes is looking for left-back cover for England international Leighton Baines. Baines has been linked with a move away from the Toffee’s this summer, with United also showing an interest in the 27 year-old. It now looks likely that he will stay at Goodison.
Everton are believed to have already had a bid rejected by the Danish side, but it seems that Everton have now returned with a second bid for the Costa Rican international. Oviedo is in the last year of his contract and could now be on his way to Merseyside before the transfer window shuts on Friday night.
