Norwegian international star Knut Olav Rindaroy has claimed that Premier League Everton are interested in acquiring his services. According to reports Everton have been interested in signing the defender since last summer. The left-back currently plays for Molde in the Norwegian top flight and has made over 100 appearances for the club. He also won the Norwegian cup with Molde in 2005.
Reports in his homeland have suggested that the 24 year-old could join the Toffee’s in the January transfer window. He has also admitted that he would be keen on a move to Everton.
He told Nettavisen:“I understand that Everton wanted me on loan during the summer and I’ve heard that there was some people looking at me against Stabaek. I have to admit that it would be great with Everton and Premier League.”
The Norwegian ace currently has a year of his contract to run and will become a free agent next summer. That means he could join whomever he wishes with no fee involved. He has revealed he wants to keep his options open.
He continued: “I want to look at my possibilities before I sign a new deal with Molde,”
