League Two side Torquay United have completed the signings of Chris Zebroski and Adam Smith on loan. Striker Zebroski has joined on loan from Wycombe till January and Smith has joined from Premier League side Tottenham. For Zebroski it will be his second loan spell with the Gulls after spending season 2007-08 with them and scoring 19 goals.
Torquay boss Paul Buckle is delighted to have Zebroski back at the club he said: “Zebs will need no introduction as the players and supporters here know who he is and what he is about,”
“They know that he scores goals and has already won promotion from this league with Wycombe. We are delighted to have him back with us.”
Buckle continued about Smith:”We have signed a very good young full-back in Adam Smith from Tottenham. Adam can play left or right-back and is what we need to cover for Lee Mansell and Kevin Nicholson.”
Meanwhile Championship side Newcastle have signed French striker Fabrice Pancrate. The former PSG star has been on trial at the club after his release from the French side. The 29 year-old has signed a deal until the end of the season with a view to extending his stay at St James.
