With Roman Pavlyuchenko leaving the club, Harry Redknapp is looking for strikers to bolster his squad ahead of the Champions League campaign. Redknapp is a great admirer of the Uruguayan strike pairing of Forlan and Suarez. Redknapp wants to bring Forlan back into the Premier League after a long stint in Spain but his wages could prove a stumbling block. Tottenham are also exploring options to bring in Luis Suarez to the club. The Ajax forward who has a stunning goal scoring record is expected to cost them £25million.
Redknapp is also keen on £7million rated City star Craig Bellamy. With the signing of David Silva, Bellamy’s spot in the City line up is uncertain. The Tottenham manager is also keeping tabs on Ballamy’s team mate Micah Richards. With Boateng and Kolarov set to be added to City’s defence, Richards might have to look elsewhere for first team football. Redknapp likes the 22-year-old’s versatility and hopes to conclude the deal by the end of this month.
