Tottenham pair Sebastien Bassong and Tom Huddlestone look set to leave White Hart Lane. According to reports defender Bassong is in talks with fellow Premier League club Norwich about a move to Carrow Road. No details about the move have yet been revealed.
Meanwhile, highly-rated defensive midfielder Tom Huddlestone is set to be loaned out this season. The England international struggled with injuries for most of last season and in an attempt to get him first team football Spurs will allow the midfielder to leave on a temporary basis.
Huddlestone is a fans favourite at Tottenham, but it appears he doesn’t currently fit into boss Andre Villas-Boas’ plans. Premier League Stoke are believed to be interested in the midfielder and Fulham boss Martin Jol is a known admirer of Huddlestone.
Tottenham are being linked with a move for Athletic Bilbao striker Fernando Llorente, after the player’s agent claimed that he had received offers from Premier League clubs in London and Manchester. Spurs are in need of striking reinforcements and Llorente could prove a shrewd signing.
