Tottenham are targeting Valencia star Roberto Soldado in their search for a new striker, according to the Daily Mail. Spurs rate the 28-year-old in the £18million bracket, while Los Ches value him closer to £24million.
Soldado has been prolific in La Liga for Valencia since his arrival, but Valencia need to sell a player this summer to negate the fact that they have not qualified for the Champions League. Meanwhile, Spurs look to have given up any hope of signing Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke, after the young Belgium international signed a new contract with the Villans.
