Tranmere Rovers have completed the loan signing of James Wallace from Everton. The 20 year old midfielder moves from Goodison Park on an initial one month loan deal. Wallace, an Everton youth product, has already had loan stints at both Shrewsbury Town and Stevenage earlier this season.
In the 2010-11 season, Wallace was loaned out to Bury and Stockport County. He made his Everton debut in 2009 as a substitute when the Toffees played Czech outfit Sigma Olomouc in the Europa League.
Wallace could make his debut for Rovers as early as this weekend, when they square off against in form Bournemouth in League One. He also represented England at the U20 FIFA World Cup last year.
