Turkish side Galatasaray have revealed they have turned down £12million bids for two of their top talents. Midfield stars Kader Keita and Arda Turan are highly-rated by the Turkish club and have played key roles in Gala’s rise to the top of the Turkish league.
The Turkish press have claimed that the bids have came from Premier League clubs. Arda first broke into the first team as a youngster in 2006 and has became a regular with both his club side and his national side. The attacking midfielder has been heavily linked with Arsenal.
Keita is a cult hero at the club having moved from French giants Lyon last summer. Premier League sides Everton and Aston Villa are believed to be set to make summer bids for the exciting Ivory Coast international. However Manchester City look the favourites to sign the talented attacker with their hefty financial backing.
The story was revealed by Galatasaray president Adnan Polat. Polat would not reveal the name of the clubs who bid for the pair but did reveal that they wanted to hold on to their star duo. Polat told Milliyet: “We have been offered €14million (£12million) for both players, but we do not intend to sell them
