Barnsley FC have completed the signing of Kelvin Etuhu on a free transfer. The medio was a free agent after being released by Portsmouth last month. Etuhu, 24, has put pen to paper a one year deal at Oakwell.
Etuhu is the brother of Fulham midfielder Dickson and is a product of the Manchester City academy. He was sent on loan to Cardiff and Leicester to garner some first team experience before opting for a permanent switch to the South Coast in January.
Barnsley manager Keith Hill expressed delight at the transfer saying that Etuhu’s versatility would give them plenty of options in the attacking third of the pitch.
