Manchester United have bid £25million for Barcelona and Spain central midfielder Cesc Fabregas. The former-Arsenal ace is believed to be unhappy at not being regarded as a first team regular at the Catalan giants, but has denied that he wishes to leave the Spanish champions this summer.
Arsenal are also believed to be interested in signing the 26-year-old midfielder. The Gunners have first refusal on their former-captain. However, it seems that English champions United are current favourites to secure the services of the player.
Barcelona look set to reject the bid, after recently selling Thiago Alcantara to European champions Bayern Munich.
