Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas has revealed that Spurs are in interested in signing Valencia’s prolific striker Roberto Soldado. The Spaniard had been linked with a move to White Hart Lane, but the Portuguese boss has now confirmed the clubs interest in the 28-year-old.
The Spain international has a minimum fee release clause of £25.8million in his contract and Spurs would have to break their club record to sign the striker. It is believed that Tottenham’s director of football Franco Baldini has flown to Spain to try to thrash out a deal for the former-Real Madrid striker.
