Welsh starlet to leave the Liberty in the summer?

New Wales sensation Daniel James could leave the Liberty in the summer, with Leeds United touted as a potential destination for the 21-year-old. The young winger almost joined the Whites in the winter transfer window for £10m, but Swansea decided against letting him move to their Championship rivals.

With James only contracted to Swansea till June 2020, talks of a summer move have again begun, especially as the 21-year old’s stock has risen following his fantastic goal for the national side against Slovakia in their European qualifier earlier this month.

The fixture against Slovakia was James’ first full start for Wales and he marked it with a goal that got their Euro 2020 qualifying campaign off to a winning one.
The youngster possesses fantastic pace, as demonstrated by his solo goal for the Swans in the FA Cup earlier this season when he left a whole host of Brentford defenders trailing in his wake.

James has said that he prefers to concentrate on his football, but rumours are swirling that he may be willing to pen a new deal at cash strapped Swansea, but only with a buyout clause built into his contract.
