Newly promoted Championship outfit Leeds United have announced that the parting of company with Congolese forward Tresor Kandol. The 28 year old had a year left on his deal at Elland Road, but has left the club following the termination of his contract.
Kandol initially joined Leeds from Barnet in the winter of 2006 and impressed Dennis Wise enough to land a permanent contract with the Whites. Apart from Leeds and Barnet, Kandol has represented several English clubs- Luton Town, Cambridge United, Bournemouth, Thurrock, Dag & Red, Darlington, Millwall and Charlton Athletic in that order.
Kandol is the cousin of former Newcastle striker Lomana Lua Lua.
