Candreva who is currently with Italy, in Brazil competing in the World Cup finals has had a great season in Serie A scoring 12 goals in 44 appearances for Lazio.
Liverpool have been chasing Southampton’s Adam Lallana but after two unsuccessful bids the Reds might look to Candreva instead. The 27-year-old has stated that he wants Champions League football next season.
He was in superb form for Italy on Saturday night when Italy beat England 2-1 in the World Cup Group D match and if he continues to perform like that throughout the rest of the tournament a move away from Lazio looks very likely.
The £20m rated winger is also wanted by Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus.
