According to reports, Wolverhampton Wanderers are keen to bring midfielder Franck Kessie to Molineux in the winter. If the move materializes, it will re-unite the 22 year old with former team mate Patrick Cutrone, who moved from Serie A to the Midlands in the summer.
Milan will reportedly be willing to listen to offers if they’re able to secure a replacement. The Rossoneri have their eye on Arsenal medio Mohamed Elneny, who is currently on loan at Turkish outfit Besiktas. Milan’s latest financial reports came in earlier this week, with Italian paper Gazzetta reporting a whopping 146 million euro loss, a 20 million euro increase over the previous year’s 126 million euro loss.
Milan are also struggling to satisfy FFP regulations- they gave up their Europa League spot despite finishing 5th in the league in 2018/19. It’s only October, but they’ve already sacked Marco Giampolo, and new boss Stefano Pioli was the subject of an online campaign on social media from fans who wanted his exit even before he had been officially announced as Giampaolo’s replacement.
Milan are currently 13th in the league table and will play host to Lecce in their first game after the international break.
