Crystal Palace starlet Wilfried Zaha is due in Manchester to have a medical ahead of a reported £15million move to Manchester United. Zaha had previously been linked with moves to Arsenal and Tottenham.
However, it seems that the England international is now set to join the Red Devils. Zaha is rated as one of the best young players in the Championship and is seen as Palace’s biggest asset. Palace boss Ian Holloway isn’t keen on losing his star player with the Eagles in the race for promotion to the Premier League.
Zaha looks set to sign a five-and-a-half year contract at Old Trafford, but is likely to stay at Selhurst Park for the remainder of the campaign, before making the move to join the Premier League leaders in the summer.
It looks like Palace may use some of the money from the sale of Zaha to raid Sheffield United for striker Nigel Blackman. The 23 year-old former-Blackburn star has been in superb scoring form this season and is into double figures this season.
